Edi Simcic, 'Sivi' Pinot Gris, Slovenia

Edi Simcic is based in Goriška Brda, Solvenia within the Southern Alps bordering Italy with a Mediterranean climate. Established in 1990, this is a family run estate focusing on poignant wines.

This is a sophisticated and expressive Pinot Gris aged in oak for 10 months. Medium bodied, golden hue and a lovely blend of fresh green apple, lemon zest and ripe pear with honeyed notes.
