Weingut Eymann, 'Gönnheimer' Spätburgunder

Weingut Eymann was founded by the Torey family in 1984 in the village of Gönnheim, at the heart of the Pfalz wine region in southwest Germany. They have been farming 17 ha organically since 1982 and biodynamically from 2006.

Hand-harvested and classically made, spending 18 months in large oak barrels and bottled unfiltered. Wild raspberry, ripe red cherry, earthy savouriness and a slate-like minerality.
