Domaine François Villard, 'La Certitude', Crozes-Hermitage

François has 7 hectares of vineyard, which include parcels in Condrieu, as well as small pockets of Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph. His wines are the epitome of the Northern Rhône – rich, full-bodied, complex and elegant.

This Crozes has a wonderfully aromatic nose of rose petals, sweet smoke and crushed raspberries. The mouth feel is silky, yet some grip in the tannin and a noticeable spicy note.
