Denis Montanar 'Massal' Merlot

Denis inherited his family vineyards in 1989, after four generations farming the land for crops in south-eastern Friuli. In 1995, the winery's name was established and has been farming organically since 1996.

Massal is 100% Merlot, delicately extracted and aged for a year in cement and steel - red fruits, graphite, spice and beautifully integrated tannins. The 2019 is drinking perfectly
