Clos Roussely 'Irreductible' Pineau d'Aunis

100% Pineau d'Aunis. A single vineyard of one hectare of Pineau D'Aunis grown in tuffeau soil in the village of Chenonceaux. Fermented and aged in 800 amphora for nine months. Red cherries, spice and a hint of forest floor. Delicate and crisp expression of this variety from Chenonceaux.

Vincent is the fourth gen member to raise the eight-hectare estate planted predominantly with Sauvignon Blanc. Small parcels of Cot, Pineau d’Aunis, Cabernet Franc and Gamay can be found. Certified organic and super clean, and respectable winemaking in the cellar.
