Blank Canvas, 'Element Vineyard' Gimblett Gravels Syrah

Blank Canvas is a renowned estate in Marlborough, New Zealand. And, with owner Sophie Park-Thomson being a Master of Wine and Chair of Appellation Marlborough Wine™, the quality of the wines are never questioned.

Working with a good friend up in Hawkes Bay, they have been able to create a delicious Northern Rhône style cool-climate Syrah. High whole bunch use provides a very aromatic and elegant Syrah, while co-fermenting a small percentage of Grüner Veltliner skins marries the black and white pepper of respective varieties together.
