Denis & Didier Berthollier, Vielles Vignes Jacquere, Chignin

The small pocked of Chignin in the Savoie was planted by Tissot & Tissot-Bertholier family in 1850. Denis And Didier branched out in 1995, planting more vines up the South & south-eastern slopes whilst focusing on organic & biodynamic farming.

Hand harvested Jacquère vines (50-100 yrs+) at 350m above sea level. Whole cluster pressed and aged in stainless steel and 12% in barrel. A wonderful versatile wine.
