Discover South Africa
Date: 4th March
Time: 7-9pm
Discover a new wave of South African wine, guided by Faye.
Five wines will be poured over the course of the evening, showcasing Carouse’s favourite bottles on the shelf and sharing the stories of the remarkable vignerons behind them.
The South African wine industry has not had an easy ride. We’re here to celebrate the tenacious producers who have helped keep it alive — and continue to push it forward.
* Bread and olives will be provided to snack on.

Clay & Wine with Plop Pottery

Scarlett is back for a fun evening of clay shenanigans… For our second workshop she’ll be showing you how to create a wonderful candlestick holder

Sunday Wine Sessions - March

Sunday = live music, wine, and cheese.

Mike Dennis will be kicking off at 3pm - Classically trained violinist whose boyhood love of Run DMC, Beastie Boys and Gangstarr led him to create a unique kind of string-heavy hip hop music he refers to as Violinica. Truly captivating with his energy, rhythms and harmony created by clever loops.
Jake A.D. plays blues-soaked and unfiltered originals mixed in with a handful or two of old-time covers, Known for his soulful voice, storytelling and expressive performances, you'll get lost in the music with him.
Drink & Draw
Date: 4th December/22nd Jan 2026/19th Feb/19th March
Time: 5.45pm - 7.30pm
About: Led by Bristol illustrator Jess Knights, this 1.5 hour workshop is all about creativity, connection and having fun. You’ll take part in a series of playful drawing prompts and games designed to get your creative juices flowing and chatting with fellow wine and art lovers.
Cost: £16.50 (includes drink on arrival)
Weekly Run Club
Our resident runner, Tom, will lead a relaxed 5k loop to the harbour and back. We’ll have the doors open ready to pour you a glass of wine or a refreshing soft drink when you return.
All abilities welcome - steady enough to natter along the way

Buskers Banquet - Tomo no Ramen
Date: 14th April
Time: 6.30-9.30pm
Buskers' Banquet brings Bristol's independent food and performing art scenes together for a one-off special events. And, we lucky enough to host one at Carouse
What to expect:
- An intimate dining experience with a musical twist at Carouse
- A bespoke three-course meal crafted by Bristol favourite - Tomo No Ramen.
- A chance for the audience to enjoy live after-dinner performances by Bristol-based musicians, Billy Lambert and Play Misty.
The menu:
The chef cannot cater to gluten or soy allergies. Please notify us with any dietary requirements. The menu will be altered accordingly
Starter:
- Tuna Tataki - Diced tuna loin, chive, mango cheong, soy cured egg yolk, spring roll cracker
Main course:
- Niboshi Shoyu - Umami infused shoyu ramen with wild garlic oil, pork collar chashu
Dessert:
- Hojicha Creme Brulee - Hojicha infused creme brulee with pear and sake puree
'Three course wine pairing curated for the menu between Tomo No Ramen & Carouse Wines is available to add on at check-out at £25pp'
The Music:
- Play Misty - Luscious, warm three-part harmonies, intertwining acoustic guitars and soaring flute – a modern take on iconic folk sounds like CSNY and Bonnie Raitt. Their debut EP, At The Cube, has been supported by BBC Introducing and Arts Council England among others.
- Billy Lambert - Billy Lambert is a multi-Instrumentalist, producer and composer, working on both short film, television and his own repertoire of Alt-Indie Music with various projects over the years, Billy is now honing the next chapter of his Solo Work - taking influence from acts like Jeff Buckley, Mk.Gee, and Radiohead.
Wine Tasting 101
Date: 15th April
Time: 6.30-8.30pm
Nail the basics and learn why the wino’s swirl their glasses.
No fancy vocabulary required - Just bring your questions and we’ll pour the good stuff.
We’ll be looking into wine alternatives, which wine myths to ignore and what goes well with that fish pie in the oven.
